Picture of little girl holding bag of popcorn has broken the internet

People were left baffled after looking at the image, which shows the child posing in a park, with her hands in front of her waist.

At first glance, it appears the girl’s legs are unusually long and skinny, but it’s an optical illusion.

Take a look for yourself in the picture below…

Twitter users admitted that they were baffled by the photo, but upon closer inspection they realised the child was holding a bag of popcorn that is very similar in colour to the patchy grass she is standing on.

The photo has been shared more than 250,000 times on Facebook and more than 37,000 people have commented on it, including many who couldn’t figure out what was happening. Please make sure to Share this on FB so all your friends can check it out.

Most people are confused by this puzzle after seeing the image illusion provided here. However, some people could quickly identify the answer. In contrast, others could not get their guesses and answers right.

This Viral Optical Illusion is hard to spot, so we have attached the image where we added the common solution. The girl is holding a big bag of popcorn which blends perfectly with the dried-out grass behind her.

Can you see it? If you can’t, don’t worry, we will help you with the solution image below. The circled part is the popcorn bag the girl is holding.

Do you now see it? Everything makes sense!

She probably was with her family at some sort of fair or festival with parking on the grass and that grass and the position of her delicious bag of popcorn was in just the right place to blend in perfectly with the grass to make it look like she has super skinny legs. She doesn’t look very happy though.

Maybe because they’re headed home and she wanted to ride the ferris wheel a few more times? Either that or her Dad just told a really bad Dad joke.

Baby called ‘hideous’ is a gorgeous grown-up little girl now

When Angelica was born on May 6, 2018, she was absolutely beautiful. She had a cute button nose, gorgeous eyes, and a heart-shaped port wine stain on her face.

Her mom, Marianna Bowering, said that while many of her friends and family are accepting of Angelica’s birthmark, there are still some people who feel it necessary to comment on her daughter’s appearance.

“The worst comment online that I’ve gotten is when someone asked if her face had been pushed onto a skillet. Basically, saying her face looked grilled,” Bowering explained.

Unfortunately when I first did this makeup look to look as beautiful as Angelica she was asleep for the night, so today.

Marianna revealed that her daughter was subjected to hurtful remarks, being labeled as “hideous” and a “defect”. The cruelty and insensitivity of such words only added to the challenges this family faced, but their resilience and determination to overcome these obstacles ultimately led to a remarkable transformation.

Despite the rude comments, Bowering is doing everything in her power to make sure Angelica grows up knowing that she’s beautiful just the way she is.

Recently, the 27-year-old mother decided to use makeup and paint a copy of 5-year-old daughter’s birthmark on her own face.

“I got the idea from vascular birthmark awareness day, where they encourage people to paint a heart on the cheeks,” Bowering said. “Initially I just did the heart with my makeup look but then I thought why don’t I go all out and do Angelica’s port wine stain.”

Wanted to be as beautiful as my daughter so I did my makeup to look exactly like my little stunner! She’s still prettier…Posted by Marianna Bowering on Saturday, May 16, 2020

Marianna was distraught when some people suggested that her daughter’s facial spots would fade over time, while others suggested that Angelica could simply conceal them with makeup if she wished.

These remarks only added to the mother’s pain and frustration, as she questioned why her daughter should have to hide her natural beauty rather than embrace it.

It was a heartbreaking reminder of the harsh realities faced by those who do not conform to conventional standards of beauty, but it also underscored the importance of acceptance and love for all individuals, regardless of their appearance.

From the beginning, neither Bowering nor her husband believed their daughter’s birthmark was something they nor she should be ashamed of. So, they actively work to make sure they know it’s something that should be celebrated.

Prior to the matching “birthmark,” Bowering dressed up Angelica’s port wine stain with glitter to “make it shine.”

Children with port wine stains on their faces are at risk for developing other health conditions, but Bowering told TODAY that Angelica is healthy.

“Thankfully, we’ve done tests and Angelica is totally healthy,” Bowering said. “We just need to have regular check-ups, especially for her eyes as glaucoma can be a concern.”

Angelica, you’re absolutely beautiful. Don’t let anyone ever tell you anything different.

Marianna, thank you for being an amazing mama and continuously showing your daughter there’s nothing wrong with her birthmark.

“Mighty Ducks” child star Shaun Weiss was arrested after drug addiction – look at him today now he’s 3 years clean

Shaun Weiss was one of the most recognisable young actors of the 1990s, but during the past few years, he has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. He is best known for his roles in Mighty Ducks and Heavyweight.

After a protracted struggle with drug addiction, Weiss was detained in California in 2020 on burglary charges.

The subsequent mugshot of Weiss went popular on social media for showing how he had changed from a lovely child to an emaciated felon.

Weiss, who was 41 at the time, was reportedly found in a car that was parked in a homeowner’s garage. He was apprehended by police after allegedly breaking the passenger window to gain entry.

However, Weiss is back in the news after receiving treatment at a rehab facility called Quest 2 Recovery, and this time he’s boldly displaying how his life has changed.

According to the former child star, he has been sober for just over three years.

“I’ll just let you know, when they take your mug shot, they’re not using any Instagram filters down at the station,” he told NewsNation of his previous arrest.

January next year will mark four years of sobriety for the actor, who is also now working at Quest 2 Recovery as a coach.

“That’s really the thing I’m proudest of,” Weiss explained. “I’ve had a lot of accomplishments, but this recovery thing is really my proudest accomplishment.”

He added: “Being able to look at the trauma, I went through the lens of trying to be creative, and to do comedy has just been a game changer. And people find my story inspiring so I just kind of tell my story, and I try to do that — in a funny way, though. It’s fulfilling for me.”

The 45-year-old also opened up about other people who could be struggling because a loved one is suffering heroin addiction.

“As drug addicts, we tend to burn our bridges and burn people that are close to us in our life,” Weiss said. “But really, as a result of not really having family and things like that to pull me back — that’s how I became untethered and ended up on the street.

“It’s a very difficult thing, this drug addiction, and when we feel alone, it makes it even that much worse.”

I don’t know about you, but watching someone transform their lives in the manner that Shaun has does my heart good. I adored him in Mighty Ducks, and his heroic recovery from near-death experience is truly motivational.

Shocking video shows elementary school principal aggressively paddling 6-year-old student

School district votes to bring back paddling for disobedient students.

A shocking incident, to say the least, took place at the Central Elementary School in Clewiston, Florida, on April 13.

Apparently, a 6-year-old student damaged one of the school’s computers and her mom was called to the school to pay the fee, which was around $50. To the mother’s disbelief, her girl was at the principal’s office together with a clerk, getting severely punished for what she did. A video footage shows the principal, Melissa Carter, hitting the girl with a wooden paddle forcefully. The other woman is making sure the child doesn’t move as she gets beaten.

The mom, whose identity has not been revealed, spoke to the local outlet WINK-TV. “The hatred with which she hit my daughter, I mean it was a hatred that, really I’ve never hit my daughter like she hit her,” she said in Spanish. “I had never hit her.”

Further, the mother said that she didn’t intervene because she wanted to get the whole thing on tape after she realized there were no security cameras in the office. “Nobody would have believed me,” the mom told the outlet. “I sacrificed my daughter, so all parents can realize what’s happening in this school.”

The principal started screaming at the mother as well.

After the incident, the mom took her daughter to the doctor’s to document the bruises and the red marks caused by the paddle.

“I’m going to get justice for my daughter because if I could not do it in front of her, I’m going to do it with justice,” the mom said.

At the time, the incident has been further investigated by both the Clewiston Police Department and the Department of Children and Families.

According to the State Attorney’s Office, no charges have been pressed against Carter and the clerk yet.

The layer of the girl’s family, Bret Provinsky, says: “That’s aggravated battery. They’re using a weapon that can cause severe physical harm.”

“The child is terrified, she feels vulnerable. There’s nothing she can do in the hands of these adults, who treated her so brutally, savagely, sadistically,” he added.

We feel very sorry for everything this girl was forced to go through and we hope that justice will be served.

Nancy Sinatra’s transformation from a struggling vocalist to a fashion star is astounding.

Nancy Sinatra, a name that resonates with the world of music and fashion, embarked on a remarkable journey from a life overshadowed by her legendary father, Frank Sinatra, to becoming an iconic figure herself. This article delves into Nancy’s transformative journey, highlighting her struggles and successes, and the indomitable spirit that propelled her to stardom.

Early Life in the Shadow of Fame

Nancy Sinatra’s early years were marked by the omnipresence of her father’s fame. Living in a luxurious New Jersey home, the Sinatra family was constantly in the spotlight. Nancy’s mother, however, was wary of this attention, creating an atmosphere of unease.

The Struggles of a Young Artist

Despite the opulence surrounding her, Nancy’s initial foray into the music industry was far from glamorous. Her early singles struggled to gain traction, and the threat of being dropped from her father’s record label, Reprise Records, loomed large. But Nancy was determined to rewrite her story.

A Transformation in Progress

Nancy Sinatra’s transformation from struggling artist to chart-topper was a testament to her resilience and willingness to evolve. She embarked on extensive voice training and, with the guidance of lyricist Lee Hazlewood, discovered a new vocal range. Her appearance also underwent a transformation, embracing the trendy “Carnaby Street” vibe of the 1960s.

Chart-Topping Success

In 1966, Nancy released her breakthrough hit, “These Boots Are Made for Walkin’,” which soared to number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart. Follow-up singles like “How Does That Grab You, Darlin’?” and “Sugar Town” solidified her status as a music sensation. Nancy even ventured into acting, starring alongside Elvis Presley and Peter Fonda.

Family and Career Balancing Act

Despite her thriving career, Nancy chose to step out of the limelight in the 1970s to prioritize her family. However, she made a triumphant return at the age of 54, posing for Playboy and collaborating with music luminaries like Bono and Morrissey on her third album. Her deep love for her father led to the publication of two books about his life and a well-deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The Iconic Go-Go Boots

Nancy Sinatra’s fashion choices were as bold as her music. Her go-go boots became an iconic part of her image, though she humorously admitted to losing track of their whereabouts over the years. Despite the mystery of the missing boots, her fashion legacy endures.

Watch the video here:

A Complex Love Life

Nancy’s personal life saw its share of challenges. She married Tommy Sands in the early 1960s, but the marriage was short-lived. After her divorce, she focused on raising her two daughters and later found love with Hugh Lambert, who tragically passed away from cancer in 1985.

A Multi-Faceted Career

Nancy Sinatra’s career was anything but one-dimensional. In 2020, she launched Nancy’s Boutique, an online store for fans to acquire unique memorabilia and CDs. She also hosted a weekly radio show titled “Nancy for Frank,” where she shared intimate insights about her life and her enduring connection with her legendary father.

Nancy Sinatra’s transformation from a struggling artist to a fashion icon and music sensation is a tale of perseverance and reinvention. Her journey serves as an inspiration to aspiring artists and a reminder that with dedication and determination, one can overcome the odds and leave an indelible mark on the world.

Jennifer Grey of Dirty Dancing needs prayers following the tragic collision.

Jennifer Grey, the iconic actress known for her role as Frances “Baby” Houseman in the classic film “Dirty Dancing,” is making headlines once again. It appears that she may be returning to the role that catapulted her to international stardom, as there is news of a new “Dirty Dancing” film in the works. In this article, we’ll explore the details of this exciting development and what it means for fans of the beloved franchise.

The Comeback of a Lifetime

When Jennifer Grey starred alongside the late Patrick Swayze in “Dirty Dancing” 33 years ago, she became a global sensation. Now, at the age of 60, Jennifer is set to not only star in but also executive produce an untitled dance picture in collaboration with Lionsgate.

Speculation and Excitement

Given that Lionsgate holds the distribution rights to the “Dirty Dancing” films, it has naturally sparked speculation among passionate fans. Could this new project be a sequel to the beloved original? While it is widely assumed that the upcoming film will continue the story of the cult hit, no official confirmation has been made.

A Shift in Time

One intriguing detail is that the upcoming picture will be set in the 1990s, a departure from the original film’s 1963 Catskills setting. This shift in time has fueled speculation that Jennifer’s project may indeed be a “Dirty Dancing” sequel.

Remembering Patrick Swayze

Unfortunately, one key figure from the original film, Patrick Swayze, passed away in 2009 after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Fans are hopeful that Jennifer, who had previously expressed her reluctance to revisit the “Dirty Dancing” franchise, has had a change of heart.

The Early Career and Tragic Accident

Before “Dirty Dancing,” Jennifer and Patrick had shared the screen in the 1984 film “Red Dawn.” Jennifer had risen to prominence earlier by playing Matthew Broderick’s sister in the box office hit “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.” Interestingly, Jennifer and Matthew became close friends after meeting on stage.

However, tragedy struck just nine days before the release of “Dirty Dancing.” Jennifer and Matthew were involved in a horrific accident while on holiday in Ireland. The accident claimed the lives of Anna Gallagher and Margaret Doherty, a mother and daughter, while Jennifer and Matthew suffered serious injuries.

A Painful Recovery

Matthew endured a shattered leg, a collapsed lung, and a concussion, while Jennifer suffered severe whiplash and torn ligaments in her neck. Although Broderick was found guilty of dangerous driving due to being in the wrong lane during the crash, Jennifer’s life was forever changed.

A Drastic Decision

In the early 1990s, Jennifer underwent two nose surgeries, the second to correct issues caused by the first. The extreme change in her appearance led to several close friends being unable to recognize her. Jennifer described this period as feeling like she had entered witness protection or gone completely incognito.

Personal Life and Challenges

Jennifer married actor Clark Gregg in 2001 after dating several A-listers, including Michael J. Fox and Johnny Depp. Despite their history, the couple recently announced their divorce. They share one child, Stella.

A Triumph on the Dance Floor

In 2009, Jennifer appeared on “Dancing With The Stars,” the American equivalent of “Strictly Come Dancing.” She underwent surgery to stabilize her neck and treat her compressed spinal cord. Jennifer revealed that she had been in pain for so long that she didn’t realize how much it had affected her life. She had to give up some of her favorite activities, including dancing, to avoid exacerbating the pain.

A Silver Lining

During her surgery, doctors discovered a small cancerous node on her thyroid, which was successfully removed. Since then, Jennifer has remained cancer-free. Her journey on “Dancing With The Stars” was triumphant, as she and her professional partner, Derek Hough, went on to win the 11th season of the show.

Continued Success

Jennifer’s popularity on “Dancing With The Stars” led to her being selected to replace head judge Len Goodman on “Strictly Come Dancing” in 2011. She has continued to work as an actor, taking on supporting roles in films and major television series such as “House” and “Grey’s Anatomy.”

The Return of “Dirty Dancing”

With the announcement of a new “Dirty Dancing” film, it seems Jennifer Grey is on the verge of reestablishing herself as a major force in Hollywood. The first “Dirty Dancing” film was a massive success, grossing $218 million worldwide on a modest $5 million budget. Additionally, the original song “I’ve Had the Time of My Life” by Frank Previte won an Oscar and a Golden Globe.

Jennifer’s potential return to her iconic role as Baby is generating excitement among fans, and she’s even been nominated for a Golden Globe for her portrayal in the original film. The world eagerly awaits more news about this exciting project and Jennifer Grey’s triumphant comeback.

AN OLDER COUPLE WERE LYING IN BED ONE NIGHT

An older couple were lying in bed one night.

The husband was falling asleep but the wife was in a romantic mood and wanted to talk.

She said: “You use to hold my hand when we were courting.”

Wearily he reached across, held her hand for a second and

tried to get back to sleep.

A few moments later she said: “Then you use to kiss me.”

Mildly irritated, he reached across, gave her a peck on the

cheek and settled down to sleep.

Thirty seconds later she said :
“Then you use to bite my neck”

Angrily, he threw back the bed clothes and got out of bed.
“Where are you going ?”she asked.

“To get my teeth.

TACO STUFFED SHELLS

Taco Stuffed Shells are jumbo pasta shells plump full of seasoned ground beef, onions, salsa, cheddar, and Monterey Jack Cheese. Then they are topped with another generous helping of cheese and baked to perfection.

HOW TO MAKE TACO STUFFED SHELLS

Start by bringing a large pot of water to boil. Cook the shells according to package directions and drain well. Meanwhile, brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. When it is about halfway through the browning process, add the onion and continue cooking until the beef is browned and the onions are soft. Then drain any excess grease from the skillet.

Now add the taco seasoning and water to the ground beef mixture and simmer for about 10 minutes. Then add the salsa and stir to combine. Remove from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes. Once cooled, stir in half of each cheese.

Then spoon the seasoned taco meat mixture into the shells and lay them in a single layer in a casserole dish. Top with the remaining shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, and minced jalapeno. Bake covered for about 20 minutes. Then uncover and bake for an additional 5 minutes. For best results, serve promptly.

RECIPE NOTES AND HELPFUL TIPS

  • For a little more kick, substitute minced serrano pepper for the jalapeno. Serrano peppers have a Scoville heat ranking between 5000 to 15000, while jalapenos have a Scoville heat ranking between 2000 to 5000.
  • Any kind of tomato is great on top of these shells. I have used fire-roasted tomatoes, sliced grape tomatoes, and quartered cherry tomatoes with good success.
  • Use my homemade taco seasoning with tons of flavor from chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, and red pepper flakes.
  • For a change of pace, try ground turkey or ground pork.
  • If desired, top with sour cream, green onions, black olives, black beans, Pico de Gallo, or guacamole.
  • Wear gloves when mincing jalapenos or other hot peppers or at the very least, do not touch your face and thoroughly wash your hands after handling the peppers. To tame the heat, remove the veins and seeds with a spoon.
  • Pro Tip – don’t risk dropping the ground beef in the sink to drain the fat. Simply tilt the pan and use a paper towel to absorb the grease.
  • Add a few extra shells when boiling the pasta, as inevitably, some of them will tear.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave at reduced power.
  • Freeze for up to 3 months in a sturdy container.

CAN TACO STUFFED SHELLS BE FROZEN?

Absolutely they can. I prefer to freeze it after it has been assembled and prior to baking. This way, the pasta shells maintain their texture and don’t become too dry from the double baking. So prepare the dish up to the point of baking. Then cover the casserole dish tightly with several layers of plastic wrap and freeze for up to 2 months.

When ready to bake, thaw in the refrigerator overnight. Remove the casserole from the refrigerator 30-40 minutes prior to baking to come to room temperature. Then remove the plastic wrap and cover it with aluminum foil. Proceed with the baking directions as written.

To freeze after baking, cool the shells completely. Then cover the casserole dish tightly with several layers of plastic wrap and place it in the freezer for up to 2 months. Defrost in the refrigerator overnight. Cut two large slits in the plastic wrap and heat in the microwave at 50% power until heated through. The reduced power gives it time for the shells in the middle to heat all the way through before the shells on the outer edges of the casserole are overheated. Heat for about 4-6 minutes, depending on the microwave’s strength.

WHAT TO SERVE WITH TACO STUFFED SHELLS

    • Homemade Lemonade

    • Chips and salsa

    • Avocado Dip

    • Mexican street corn

    • A small garden salad or Doritos Taco Salad

    • Chicken Taco Soup

    • Mexican Shrimp Cocktail (Cóctel de Camarónes)

    Raspberry or watermelon sorbet

Mother bans smoking mother-in-law from touching baby unless she’s recently showered and changes first

The arrival of a new baby signals so much joy and anticipation but it can also be fraught with worry.

One mom was concerned about her baby being exposed to third-hand smoke as her mother-in-law was a heavy smoker.

Her mother-in-law would not smoke around her baby but would still have smoke on her clothes and hair and the mom-to-be was understandably concerned.

According to the Mayo Clinic: “Thirdhand smoke is residual nicotine and other chemicals left on indoor surfaces by tobacco smoke. People are exposed to these chemicals by touching contaminated surfaces or breathing in the off-gassing from these surfaces.

“This residue is thought to react with common indoor pollutants to create a toxic mix including cancer causing compounds, posing a potential health hazard to nonsmokers — especially children.”

To be absolutely sure her mother-in-law wasn’t bringing any third-hand smoke into her home and around her baby she asked if she could shower and change her clothes before holding her new grandchild.

According to Slate.com’s Care and Feeding page the mom said: ” I’m not worried about her smoking in front of my child, but after researching thirdhand smoke, I am very concerned about her holding the baby after she has had a cigarette. My husband and I have decided that after she smokes, she needs to shower and change her clothes before she can pick up the baby.

“We don’t want my mother-in-law to feel ostracized, and we don’t want to hurt her feelings, but obviously, those are likely potential outcomes,” the anonymous “worried mom-to-be” asked the help and advice page.

“How can we still be welcoming and let her know we are excited to have her around while still setting these boundaries? Also, how long should we remain this strict about the issue? How should we handle this when we are visiting my in-laws?”

In response to her question Care and Feeding wrote: “You are perfectly within your rights to ask for what you want; her response to that is her business, not yours.

“When she’s visiting you, I think you can be strict about this. When you are visiting them, I think you have to, for necessity’s sake, be less so. It’s not possible for them to clear all residual smoke and nicotine off of everything in their home. You may want to stay in a hotel for that reason.”
What do you think about this mom-to-be’s concern about her baby being exposed to third-hand smoke?

Are you a grandmother who smokes and feels strongly about what this woman is asking of her family?
